Description
The MSCE mini electric slide is a compact linear actuator with an integrated linear guide system and table unit. By using an integrated precision ball screw, the rotational motion of the drive shaft or motor is converted into linear motion (translation) of the table unit with high mechanical efficiency and low internal friction.
Maximum performance characteristics, such as high speed, acceleration, and repeatability, are ensured by the precision ball screw and linear guide system. The pre-assembled standard motor (mounted either inline with the motor adapter and coupling or in parallel via a deflection belt drive and timing belt) together with the standard drive makes the system plug-and-play capable. Compact dimensions and optimally selected motor combinations cover a wide range of applications.
The aluminum base profile features T-slots on the underside for mounting the electric slide. In addition, lateral grooves for clamping elements and slots for magnetic field sensors are provided. The aluminum table unit and the front plate of the electric slide offer versatile options for mounting work tools and attaching additional accessories. Pre-drilled mounting holes on the table unit and front plate allow easy integration of multiple MSCE units in multi-axis systems, making this product highly flexible.
For applications requiring a custom motor combination, the mini electric slide is also available without a pre-mounted motor. The piston rod, together with the radial shaft seal, protects the ball screw from dust and other contaminants. Standard stroke lengths ensure an excellent price-performance ratio and fast delivery times. Each MSCE is optimally pre-lubricated and ready for maintenance-free operation. The aluminum profiles are manufactured to EN 12020-2 medium tolerance.
